Jan Van Heuverswyn

Jan Van Heuverswyn is the Managing Director of Interel 402 PR practice.

Jan holds an interpreters degree from the Brussels based Institut Libre Marie Haps, which he complemented by a CEPAC (Solvay Business School Brussesl) post graduate degree in management.

Jan Van Heuverswyn started his career at Agoria, the federation of technological industries, where he was in charge of construction materials at Belgian and European level. Following this, he represented the interests of this professional association in Latin America and the Caribbean during ten years. In 1983, he joins the Cabinet of Minister G. Geens, Minister-President of the Flemish Government, where he was in charge of the “Flanders Technology International” fair. Prior to joining Interel, Jan also held the position of Communication Director with two important Belgian financial groups: Dexia Banque, followed by Fortis.

As a professional, Jan always enjoys calling matters into question and, as Managing Director of Interel 402 PR, he very much appreciates working with a team of women and discovering their various talents and sensibilities on a daily basis. Attracted by Belgian and international relationships, he presides the “Communications Committee” of the US chamber of commerce (Amcham Belgium).

Jan is a life-long sailing aficionado and is also very attracted by social causes: he chairs the Mus-e Belgium association, a charity created by Sir Yehudi Menuhin and aiming at developing educational and social artistic projects.
